Bulldog Carries the Complete Ward Line-up
Taking on a new apparatus brand in 2022, Bulldog Fire & Emergency Apparatus is now a proud distributor for Ward Apparatus. Carrying their complete line of vehicles, we serve customers in Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and the Northeast Counties of New York.
Ward Apparatus, located in Horseheads, NY, with a 188,000 square foot facility, acquired MCB in January 2021. MCB has been in continuous operation since 1976, with origins as Cayel Craft Ambulances which, for over a decade, manufactured industry-leading ambulances for the EMS marketplace. Ward Apparatus will continue that legacy, building emergency vehicles that are safe, durable, and of exceptional quality. When Ward apparatus say “customized,” they do not mean a base model with some options. Ward Apparatus builds the body YOU need to carry all your equipment in the most efficient, accessible manner. What to Expect When Working with Bulldog
Each new vehicle begins with a detailed process to uncover your wants and needs. After our initial meeting, we get Ward involved to help draft up the drawings and specifications of your vehicle. We work with you to customize each aspect of your unit, ensuring you have the basics covered and the additional features you desire. If you’re going out to bid, we will also put together a detailed proposal with a bottom line number to aid you in the process.
Once you’ve chosen to work with Bulldog and Ward, we will set up a pre-construction meeting. Here, you will converse with us and your Ward project engineer. Your Ward engineer specializes in the type of model you choose, to lend additional expertise to your build. We cover every paragraph of the specifications in detail and discuss any changes you’d like made. We want you to understand exactly what you’re getting before the fire truck goes into production.
