Lake Charles Fire Department Purchases Three Pumpers and One Aerial

PRAIRIEVILLE, LA – BFA of LA, Inc., a division of Bulldog Fire Apparatus, is proud to announce that the Lake Charles Fire Department has placed an order for three Ferrara F-180 Pumpers and one custom HD-107’ Rear Mount Aerial. This purchase includes a combination of stock units and custom builds, replacing an aging fleet that has served the department for over 20 years.

As a long-time Ferrara customer, the Lake Charles Fire Department continues to trust Ferrara’s dependable engineering and innovative design to meet their growing demands. The decision to include stock units in their purchase allowed the department to expedite the process, avoiding lengthy lead times associated with custom builds.

Stock Units that Exceed Specifications
Lake Charles couldn’t afford to wait 3-4 years for a new custom build, so the department turned to BFA’s extensive inventory of stock units. The Ferrara F-180 product line not only met their specifications but exceeded expectations in key areas.
